Walked in to Roy's and immediately felt welcome. 2 ladies at the door greeted my husband and i and we were quickly seated. Our server was firendly, attentive and our drinks were refilled quickly. The fried pickles were delicious. The salad bar was very nice and was included with our meals. I had the seafood platter and the portions were huge! Everything had a great flavor. We will definitely be back next time we come to Kinder.
I had the crawfish platter. Half etoufee and half fried. It was fried perfect. Really enjoyed my meal. This place has a homemade hometown atmosphere. The staff was great. I will be stopping here every time I am in the area.
We arrived right before a storm hit. The lights kept going off and on. The staff was persistent in getting our meals out in case they lost electricity. The food was so good and we were happy to be able to enjoy with the lights on.

My family and I love this place! We showed up with 7 of our family members for my brother's birthday and they were quick to accommodate us with no worries. They were quick with our orders and food and everything was delicious. Our waitress was nice under the circumstances and everyone enjoyed themselves in a great family-like atmosphere.
The service here was excellent. They have peanuts on the table for you to eat while you wait for your food. I ordered the "half and half" which is crawfish etouffee and fried crawfish" and it was great. I needed a to go box for this one. It was a generous portion, that's for sure. My wife had the catfish plate and it was pretty tasty. We will be back again.
I came with my residents from a nursing facility. There was 11 of us total. Everybody enjoyed their food and most even had leftovers. We called ahead and they had the table already ready for our group. The service was fairly fast for how busy they were and they took great care of all of us. Their payment methods were card, cash, and tap to pay (Apple pay). 100% recommend Roys Catfish Hut. It’s a gem in a small town.
This place was amazing, the service was absolutely awesome... Our waiter was a young female named Alyssa and she was very attentive regardless of how many other tables she was waiting.... The salad bar was good with multiple fresh veggies, ranches, and the rest of the fixins... With the name called Roy's Crawfish, of course I had to try the crawfish... I ordered the Half and Half crawfish which is fried crawfish tails and crawfish etouffee with garlic bread... It was delicious to the very last bite, just enough spice... My wife ordered the fried shrimp with a baked potatoe... She loved it... The boys ordered Regular chicken and fried fish.... It was all perfectly fried and good, the fries were really good also... Next time we come back to Louisiana, we definitely have to try this place again... 10/10
